KAMNIK MERLOT

A dry red wine made 100% from carefully selected Merlot grapes from the vineyards surrounding the Kamnik winery. This wine is characterized by a deep ruby red color with purple hues. The 28 months of ageing in new American and French oak barrels gives this wine a complex nose that reveals fruity and spicy tones, with dominant aromas of dark and red berries, complemented with vanilla and coffee hints. The palate of this full-bodied wine is elegant and abundant in soft and integrated tannins. The liquorice and chocolate aftertaste is long and pleasant. This wine is perfectly combined with meat specialties, especially with game in piquant sauces or with a selection of cheese.
