This ruby red colored wine has striking aromas of ripe blackberries and blueberries. The taste is dominated by jammy dark berry-fruit aroma with a trace of vanilla which comes from the brief contact of wine with oak. The wine is full-bodied, with soft and balanced tannins. It goes well with all red meats grilled or seasoned with aromatic spices (cumin, coriander, cinnamon) along with creamy, cheesy polenta or grilled veggies.
