In the very south of the wine-growing region of Coastal Croatia, within the Pelješac vineyards, lies the position of Dingač. Facing south, on steep positions with slopes of the terrain from 10⁰ up to 60⁰, the sun reaches the vine of Plavac Mali from all directions and even from the reflection of the sea. Soil is one of the most important factors in the quality of grapes and wine Dingač, limestones interwoven with dolomite layers bring their uniqueness to the aroma. Protected from the north with two hills and with the sea in the south as a temperature regulator, results in long ripening berries and thus a full body of wine with a dark ruby color in which the tradition of the term “red wine” has a deep foundation. With a strong body and rounded tannins with aromas of prunes and raisins, everything was woven into Dingač Šimunković.
